Tell us about your research.
The purpose of my PhD project is to improve treatment outcomes among adolescents with HIV, by developing and testing e-health interventions that will increase HIV treatment adherence and retention in care. Poor compliance with treatment is a significant challenge among adolescents living with HIV in Ethiopia, leading to poor treatment outcomes.
How does it feel to be a part of the research team?
It feels very good. I appreciate that it is an interdisciplinary group where we can share our experiences and learn from each other.
What are you working on right now?
I collect qualitative data for the study. I’m interviewing adolescents living with HIV, transcribing the interviews and working on my manuscript.
