Charlotte Castor, doctor of medical science in the research group Child and Family Health, shared her research at the 6th National Conference in Palliative Care in Östersund.

During three intense days, March 10-12, Charlotte Castor participated in workshops, discussions and a poster presentation where she presented an ongoing study for improved self-care in the home for children with cancer.

The purpose of the study is to develop and evaluate a digital application for a tablet to be used for communication between the family and the healthcare staff.

The study is part of the projects eChildHealth and iCope and is carried out in collaboration with Professor Inger Kristensson Hallström and researcher Björn A Johnsson.
